PERMISSIONS | IMPRESSIONS
![]() 🎨 First Impressions 🌼 VISUAL: Generally speaking, Mary looks like your average little girl, though perhaps maybe she's a bit hauntingly too cute. In that way that it feels like she's come off the page of somebody's picture book. She's petite and stands at five-foot-even. Her long blonde hair is thick and unruly, but never seems to be particularly tangled or out of place. Her skin is fair, her eyes are bright and blue, and her smile is wide and shining. Sometimes, her behavior leaves an impression that there's something uncanny about her, lingering just below the surface. Oh, but it's probably nothing. After all, there's nothing threatening about her. Not at all! 🌼 FASHION: Mary wears a green dress with a long, billowing skirt and white lace around the hem, wrists, and collar. A lovely blue bow cinches just below her neck. She wears dark brown stockings and black buckled shoes. There are black scorch marks at the ends of her dress, pockmark burns. 🌼 DEMEANOR: Friendly and full of a zest for life, Mary always seems to be full of energy. Well, always, that is, until she gets scared or upset. Sometimes, even when she's happy, if you're listening or looking at her the right way, you'll notice a distinct and imposing sadness about her. More than that, she seems so very lonely; her fervor a desperate means of combating that melancholy that bubbles inside of her chest. If only she could be happy, happy, happy all the time, everyone will love her, and there will be no reason to ever feel sad. Or to feel scared. To feel alone, or abandoned. And then sometimes, sometimes, there's just something off. It's hard to put your finger on it. A hollowness in her eyes or a tightness in her smile that makes her face seem unused to the action. Sometimes, her childish behavior almost seems more like a mockery of humanity than anything else. A sad, failure of an imitation. But those moments are so brief and so scattered, it has to be your imagination. She's just a happy little girl with a rather sad, rather peculiar upbringing...right? 🌼 SOUND: A cute voice, high-pitched and sweet. She speaks in a bubbly cadence, usually full of energy, but mumbles when she gets shy or cagey. When she's angry or overly excited, she forgets to control her volume, and tends to shout or shriek. Prone to giggling, sometimes inappropriately or in an unsettling way. 🌼 SCENT: Mary always smells faintly of oil paints. In Beacon, she'll also smell distinctly ashy, like she's been inside of a chimney. 🌼 MENTAL INFORMATION: There's nothing stopping anyone with the appropriate abilities to breaking into Mary's head. No safeguards or walls. Just let me know if that's going to happen and we'll plot it out; they may be surprised at what they find in there. 🌼 MAGICAL INFORMATION: Anyone able to analyze an individual with any kind of magical scan will discover that she is most definitely not a human. No heart beats inside her body. The blood that flows through her limbs is unlike what blood should be. There is no life, no humanity, no reality. It's all a pretty, charming imitation. 🎨 Permissions 🌼 BACKTAGGING: Absolutely fine! 🌼 FOURTHWALLING: I doubt it would apply, but just ask first! 🌼 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: As long as it's platonic, or the sort of affection appropriate between family members, this is completely okay. For obvious reasons, anything beyond that would be unacceptable! Just keep her age in mind, please! 🌼 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Completely okay; fuck her up. 🌼 RELATIONSHIPS: Shipping is okay in the sense that it's two kids holding hands and having a sweet sort of crush on one another. Any shipping would be innocent and not particularly serious or "official", and as long as it stays that way, it's fine! I think it's cute. |
