Yes. He deserves more time to deal with his personal problems, and it's better to be "alive" for those. He wasn't in a good place this week.

Yay! I'm glad you think so, too! [Pause.] But what did he do?

He was full of enough self-loathing for what happened to Maya-san, he took it out on me.

[ he puts a hand to his own neck. ]

It's a separate incident! But if I brought up him trying to strangle me... This trial would have been even more complicated for the wrong reasons. Two people with suspicious clothing changes is enough.

If anyone's worried, I'll keep an eye on him.

I'm happy that you're okay...and I think he will feel better if he has time to heal, I think you're super right.
