[Mary runs to catch up with him, grabbing onto his arm.]

Hey, hey...are you alright? You got three votes, but it didn't seem like you did anything wrong at all!

[His hair was a possible match for the lock found on Chuuya, but ultimately it had been a dead end. Had people still suspected him for something as silly as that? It's strange...]

[Mary's voice gets him to skid to a halt pretty quickly, and he turns to face her just as she grabs onto his arm. the smile he wears is genuine, but doesn't quite fill up his entire face]

Ah. . . well.

[he rubs the back of his neck, sheepish]

I guess some people really did think the hair found at AMX was mine.

[for just having garnered three votes? he seems pretty. . . calm]

They must not know you so well. You're really nice--you didn't make me get my hair tested and everything!

[She believes in him, her smile says it all, even though her body language is pretty tense--it's hard for her to come down from how she felt as she defended Newt and Hermann. Still, she's relieved it's over. Tomorrow isn't going to be a good day, but for now, she'll hold onto what sense of peace she's afforded.]

I can't imagine you hurting anyone.

[it's understandable that she's tense, honestly. . . and Akira crouches down to her level, dropping his hand on top of her head as he does so. it's comforting]

Well-- thanks. For saying that.

[truthfully? he doesn't know how he feels about hearing it, considering. . . this Game]

. . . it's true that I didn't hurt anyone, too.

[he hadn't been responsible for Chuuya, despite what three people may have thought]

[She gives him a definitive nod.]

I think most of the people who got voted for were innocent this week...so I'm surprised we got so lucky with Miki.

[Mary is too sweet]

Ah. . . I was honestly really shocked it was her.

[and he made that pretty clear once the results were announced, didn't he?]

I had no idea that Miki had someone that important to her in her life.

[withsadness]

Me, too...I didn't talk to her that much, but she seemed very nice. She made me laugh.

[Mary frowns, and looks down.]

Do you think a lot of the people here have someone they're thinking of?

[purrtagonist]

She made me laugh, too.

[on many occasions. and now he is in charge of a chickenpig, on Miki's behalf. he'll take very good care of the creature, no worries. "where is it now, Al" IT'S SOMEWHERE BEING DOTED ON, DON'T ASK]

And of course I do. [there's no uncertainty in that response] Everyone has at least one person they miss or love, right?

I guess everyone would.
