[Mary's drawing something that almost looks like...team formations as she kicks her legs over the edge of the roof alongside Newt's. She's also thinking about pancakes, so she's a little distracted.]
Do you think that the players are going to like me?
[She leans back, frowning as she stares up at Newt.]
If I dress up like the other players in a camp uniform that'll be enough, won't it? I'll just pretend to be really bad at the game, and then ah, oh no, I've been eliminated! And then I can watch from my cabin...
Uh... Maybe? [He's not sure. So much of this new Games setup is still unknown to him. It helps that Mary's in charge and that all of them did plenty of hashing out before they got the ball rolling, but still. Execution usually goes a bit differently than the planning stages of anything. Who knows what these new Players are going to be like?]
If you hang back, you won't be lonely. I'll still be around to hang out with you. Hermann and Alex, too.

'Course they will, kiddo. It's impossible not to like you. [...] You might want to, uh, lay low for the first bit, though. Just in case.
[He doesn't want her getting hurt in case any of the Players decide to lash out.]

[And all the other Reapers, but he's biased.]
